My Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI) was very interesting in comparison to the first one I had taken my freshman year of college. I was an ISFJ, but now I am an ISFP\/INFP. I guess the changes I have noticed are maybe due to my self-growth in the past three years.<\/p>\n

Since I only had 1% for sensing, the description for my MBTI said I could be either ISFP or INFP. Thus,\u00a0I do not rely on my senses or my intuition unevenly.<\/p>\n

I agree with majority of my MBTI results, except when the description stated that organized education is difficult for my type of personality. I believe quite the contrary. I enjoy school in the sense that knowledge to me is power, and being in structured system academically is\u00a0necessary if education is to be provided for free and taught in an efficient and engaging manner.<\/p>\n

However, what shocked me the most about my personality type is that I am 16% Perceiving, meaning I enjoy making unplanned decisions, going on adventures, and living without rules or boundaries. In my Asian culture, being task oriented, organized, and always prepared is valued more. I desire\u00a0to be like that. I was\u00a0inclined\u00a0to chose yes to specific questions on the MBTI that indicated that I was like that, and I even did because of my cultural conditioning, but the MBTI is so accurate that it was able to infer the truth.<\/p>\n

As a student, I never understood why I hated teachers with so many harsh deadlines and unnecessary guidelines for doing even the simplistic of tasks until now. It is due to my free spirited personality. I relish\u00a0having the freedom or even the illusion of freedom with anything I do. It gives me a sense of control. So, I delight in\u00a0learning and participating in class where there is room to set personal deadlines and study\u00a0at your own pace. It makes me appreciate the subject matter more overall with those standards.<\/p>\n

The Perfect Classroom<\/strong><\/p>\n

My vision of an idealistic classroom entails many large open windows with the view of palm trees and other exotic plants and a massive microfiber rug in the center of the room with dozens of fluffy pillows and throws all on top of it. There will be a big projection screen from which the teacher will lecture on either side of the wall, one facing inside the classroom and one facing outside in the yard.\u00a0All the lighting in the classroom will be natural, and the students will get to choose if they want to have class inside or outside each day.<\/p>\n

My classroom will\u00a0not have desks because they restrict students from feeling comfortable and at ease. Students will be provided lap desks to complete their assignments. My\u00a0learning environment will \u00a0be cosy because I want the students to feel safe and happy, not sad and miserable\u00a0like most of us felt during school time especially in high school.<\/p>\n
