Social Justice – Level One
The idea of public education in the United States has been a radical concept in the history of education. When you think about it, century of education were reserved exclusively for the upper classes, starting with royalty and landed gentry and then carrying on through the 19th century. The fight for an education for all classes is a fairly recent invention, and as such, it’s still not as open and free for everyone as we might like to believe.
